Crystal Candidates Promote Minneapolis Agenda

By Andrew Richter

Anyone remember the core tenants of city government? We’ve talked about them many times. They are to provide basic services to residents such as police and fire protection, plowing and repairing roads, and keeping up nice parks. Sounds simple right? Well not these days.

Well we have three candidates running in Crystal here in 2020 who hardly even talk about these services. Those services are not what they want to focus on. They want to remake Crystal into a Minneapolis-style woke new urbanism type of city.

In Ward 4 we have the far-left David Cummings who embraces every woke issue possible.

Cummings recently sent out a mailer to Ward 4 (which I’m sure was probably financed by unions not from Crystal residents) says he favors the following:

Establishing and empowering a Human Rights Commission to achieve equity for all residents

What is with the obsession with a Human Rights Commission? This commission collapsed because of a lack of interest and direction. Instead the city created the Community Outreach Taskforce which seemed to be embraced by the community. The only ones who seem to care about it are local DFL politicians.

Innovation and policy to move us toward sustainability and lessen the city’s carbon footprint.

That’s a big problem is it? So what does this mean? Going back to a horse and buggy? Buying all new electric police cars, fire trucks, and plows? Anyone ready to pay for all that? Remember we have to do this or we will boil to death.

Accessible, environmentally responsible transportation options like light rail, additional bike lanes, and improved connectivity between cities.

Huh? More bike lanes? Yeah we really have an overcrowding problem on all the bike lanes we already have right? I bet that’s what residents are clamoring for….I’m sure you are hearing that going door to door.

Connectivity between cities? What? What the hell does that mean? Is there some barrier between cities I’m not aware of. It sounds like a phrase you’d hear in corporate talking points.

Clearly Mr. Cummings is running for one reason: his personal ideology and agenda. He mentions nothing about fiscal issues or basic services; you know the things Crystal is suppose to provide according to their charter. The funny part of it is that he has a video out now on his website where he talks about “listening to you and being your voice.” Come on, we all know that’s a lie. You have an agenda and you are committed to shoving it down our throat. And that’s fine. But don’t tell us at the same time you are going to be Mr. listener.

In the same video he talks about eradicating systemic racism in Crystal. Honestly I’m quite offended at this. Are you calling Crystal a racist city? At the very least you could give some examples of what you would do or “fix” instead of vaguely referring to Human Rights Commission as a cure all.

If you want to get woke go to his website http://www.davidforcrystal.com

Of course, running in Ward 3 is our old pal and friend John Budziezewski. Like Cummings, Johnny Bizzell has a standard left-wing agenda to “serve you” and no interest whatsoever in the charter or in basic core services of a city. On his website Johnny B calls for the following:

A $15 minimum Wage

Oh well a great way to bring all the success of Minneapolis to the suburbs and chase out small business at the same time.

Blue Line

Gotta love that multimodal transportation.

No Raising Property Taxes to pay for street repair or replacement

So you favor special assessments? Earth to Johnny B, that also goes on your property taxes except you get to pay interest on it! It’s not a tax increase one way and free the other way. This is total misinformation.

Clean Water

Oh no come on I want dirty water.

Are these the things you are super worried about? Again it’s not about maintaining the services you rely on when you dial 911 or when we have a snowstorm. It’s about remaking Crystal into Minneapolis with forced transit and a minimum wage hike.

Check out ol’ Jonny B at votejohnbudziezewski.com

Last of all we have Steve Adams running for mayor (no relation to Jim Adams). Now to be fair, while Mr. Adams does speak a little bit on fiscal matters, though I question if he really understands it, much of his platform is focused on left-wing fluff.

Human Rights and Equity: Steve values the diverse population that lives in Crystal and wants to make sure that the government works for all.

OK another feel-good meaningless statement. What in city government isn’t working? Can you think of an example?

Community Policing: Continued focus on positive interactions with the public.

OK….I’m a little lost. Community policing sounds like where you dial 911 and you get sent a social worker. Focus on positive interactions? This is public safety not ballet. I don’t think the criminals are too interested in positive interactions.

Transparent Government: make things easier to find on the website, make city finances more accessible, and understandable to the public, and make meeting minutes accessible.

OK Stevie here you go

City Budget

City Agendas and Minutes

City Meetings and Work Sessions

Seriously can it get any easier than that? In fact the website was just revamped a few years ago for this very purpose. Problem already solved.

Separation of Church and Government: Will represent the values of all residents, no matter your affiliation or creed.

I’m really bothered by Mr. Adams obsession with separation of church and state. Steve Adams seems to have a deep hostility or out and out hatred towards people of faith. He mentions this in nearly every speech or publication. What is driving it? What the hell is he talking about? What religion is being forced on the city? Where is your evidence of this? Is the Pope in charge?

The very least Mr. Adams could do is explain himself. I favor the free exercise of religion as much as the next person but I’m totally unclear on how this effects city politics.

You can read more if you dare at http://www.steve4crystalmayor.com

There you have it; will Crystal choose wokeness or stay on the current path?

Robbinsdale Federation of Teachers Quotes a Convicted Killer

By Andrew Richter

Now, we’ve all heard the stories of kids being indoctrinated in our schools to radical leftist beliefs. This used to happen quietly and behind the scenes. It now happens out in the open. Not only does the Robbinsdale Federation of Teachers (RFT) openly now support Black Lives Matter, but they openly support a “peaceful uprising” to achieve equity and justice. I don’t say it…..they do;

I’m sorry, what is a peaceful uprising? Here is the definition of an uprising: “an act of resistance or rebellion; a revolt.” A revolt? You are supposed to be teachers dedicated to helping young people develop the tools to become successful adults, not to use them as activists in your causes by encouraging an “uprising” and taking part in a “revolt” in the wake of one person’s death. As if this weren’t bad enough, the RFT then quotes a person by the name of Assata Shakur. Now who is Assata Shakur?

Oh that’s right she’s a Black Power icon and a convicted cop killer. Here’s the quote

You don’t believe me? Here an article from ABC News on the Shakur (whose real name is JoAnne Deborah Byron) case. You can see that this former Black Liberation member was convicted of murder, armed robbery, assault, battery, illegal possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon with the intent to kill. She then escaped to Cuba where she has enjoyed freedom in that country ever since under political asylum. She is still wanted as one of the FBI “most wanted terrorist” and was the first woman to be designated that. The RFT must have been the first to congratulate her on that accomplishment.

Of all the people the district could quote, all of the minorities the district could quote from Harriet Tubman to Martin Luther King to Fredrick Douglass to Jackie Robinson to Barack Obama. who does the district quote? A former Black Panther convicted of murdering a state trooper who escaped from prison and has been in hiding ever since.

Do you want some more Assata Shakur quotes? How about this showing what a raging racist she is:

“When Black people seriously organize and take up arms to fight for our liberation, there will be a lot of white people who will drop dead from no other reason than their own guilt and fear.”

White people dropping dead? Here’s another beauty comparing the police in the United States to Nazis;

“Every day there were three shifts of police. When they changed shifts, the two troopers would salute the sergeant. Some saluted an army salute, but others saluted like the Nazis did in Germany. They held their hands in front of them and clicked their heels.”

Well that’s certainly wonderful. Does RFT share this view?

Here are the RFT’s endorsed candidates for 281 school board. Do they support this line of thinking? Maybe they should be asked?

Here are the ways to get a hold of them thought email;

I would also like to know who at the Robbinsdale Federation of Teachers decided to quote this person. Do you have an explanation? Is there another Assata Shakur we don’t know about?

The Price of Politics

By Andrew Richter

Folks, I’m not a victim. I’ve been in this business for 17 years. Getting attacked is part of the game. I can handle people disagreeing with me. Some attacks just go over the line.

Look up the textbook definition of going over the line and you will find a picture of ReNae Bowman, the former mayor of Crystal. This social media post was from a while back but I was just alerted to it and I want to share with our audience the kind of people we are up against.

Well gee I think I’m better looking than that guy…..

And I’ve been searching and searching throughout my blog and I can’t find where I’ve ever used the word libtard. I searched and searched and cant find even one usage. If you can prove me wrong then I will stand corrected. So where this 200 times I’ve called her this is beyond me. Of course, this is all to make Ms. Bowman out to be the victim; something she always is when anyone dares stand up to her.

Saying I support Nazis is borderline slander and has no basis in fact. I challenge Ms. Bowman to find one time where I remotely support any Nazi view. Where do I call for Jews to be rounded up and gassed? Where do I call for a World War with a 1000 year Reich? Where do I call for an end to voting or democracy or our constitution? Where do I praise Hitler or any other Nazi? Where do I call for Anglo-Saxton domination of the world? Apparently a Nazi is anyone who disagrees with her high and mightiness.

The truth is that this behavior by Ms. Bowman is a perfect example of left-wing culture. Their goal is total conformity of language and thought. If you disagree with them, you are a Nazi, racist, homophobe, etc. All the while these leftists preach how everyone should be loved and have tolerance. They are tolerant….as long as you agree with them. Disagreement is not allowed. This so cheapens the words racist and Nazi. The people who are real victims of racism and religious persecution are the losers when this happens; something Ms. Bowman is too consumed with hate to understand.

I’m not so fit? Really? Yeah OK I’m overweight but why is it OK to make fun of that? Can you imagine if I said anything about Bowman’s weight or looks? I bet these people wouldn’t be laughing, Its only OK if Bully Bowman does it.

Attacking me of course is one thing. Attacking my wife is quite another;

I don’t know who Cassie Faulkner is and by the way Ms. Bowman was the one who “liked” the photo.

Is this supposed to be funny? Attacking me is fine. It’s a price in politics that I’m willing to pay. Putting up rotten pictures and implying that’s my wife is a new low even for Bowman and her friends.

My wife is completely innocent in all this and doesn’t deserve to be attacked this way. She is the most wonderful and beautiful person I know. In some ways I feel like I don’t deserve her. I can also confirm that she didn’t vote for President Trump in the 2016 election so that shows your incredible ignorance. Attacking her like this is just beyond reprehensible.

The truth is Ms. Bowman you don’t scare me. You’re nothing more than a classless coward. While I go out and work hard with my blog and my podcast and on campaigns, you sit around on social media and spread 24/7 hate. it’s a pathetic existence. If you’d like to be as successful as my group I have a suggestion; why don’t you come up with a positive agenda and persuade people to support it?

I know I’ve helped defeat you and all your friends in Crystal and that has to be eating at you. I can understand that. Losing that much has to drive someone crazy. She probably dreams about defeating our group in just one election. And why not? Dreams are important. I won’t knock them.

Having said all this, I will support Ms. Bowman’s right to free speech. If I try and shut her up then I’m no better than she is. Her first amendment rights will be supported by this group even it attacks me and my family. What I will not do, under any circumstances, is stop exposing her vulgar and despicable words. These are her words, published in their entirety. Voters of Crystal will know what she says and who she supports. No amount of attacking me will intimidate me into silence. One thing Bowman won’t do is shut up, so you can rest assure that her conduct will continue to be exposed here.

Did Race Play a Role in the Armstrong Principal Debacle?

By Andrew Richter

Well for those of you that haven’t heard, Armstrong Senior High School will have a new principal next year. The strange thing is trying to figure out why. Of course, I have a theory and it’s not very politically correct.

Parents, students and district stakeholders voiced concerns regarding the reassignment of longtime Armstrong High School Principal David Dahl during a Robbinsdale Area Schools community engagement session March 7 in the high school auditorium.

Attendees expressed support for Dahl and questioned the district’s leadership after Superintendent Carlton Jenkins made the announcement via email March 4 in which he stated: “After several conversations with Mr. David Dahl as well as careful reflection about our Unified District Vision and Armstrong High School, I have made the decision to have Mr. Dahl serve as Principal on Special Assignment for the 2019-2020 academic year.”

Special Assignment? What is that a Dateline exclusive?

Board Chair John Vento thanked those in attendance for their support of Armstrong and Dahl and said that while questions could be asked of the school board, the evening was an opportunity for the board to hear the public’s concerns and that no decisions would be made that evening. “We are here to listen and we understand a lot of frustration is out there,” Vento said, also noting the district is dealing with a personnel issue protected by privacy laws. Boardmembers Helen Bassett and Sherry Tyrrell were also on the leadership panel, along with Jenkins and Kristine Wehrkamp, executive director.

When asked about the personnel review process for Dahl, Jenkins said there was no deficiency in Dahl’s performance that played a part in the reassignment decision. Rather, the decision was about strengthening the district and taking it to the next level, Jenkins said, noting this isn’t the first time he “strategically moved an administrator.”

Hmmm interesting. So if his performance isn’t an issue, and I have no idea what the truth is, then what is the reasoning for removing him? Why fix it if it isn’t broke?

Dahl’s new role will help the district fulfill a three-year reconciliation agreement with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights to help the district address disproportionality in disciplinary outcomes to reduce the disparities in suspension and expulsion rates for students with disabilities and students of color.

Ah I see….so this about the racist suspensions. A three year reconciliation agreement? What is that? Here’s an idea; if you don’t want to get suspended, change your behavior.

What are you going to do to change that? Suspend white kids for being tardy and let minority kids do whatever they want? If you have behaviors that are unacceptable and enforce the consequences equally, then what is the problem exactly?

An administrator is required for such a role and Dahl is “highly qualified,” Jenkins said, with Dahl having the requisite qualifications and experience to fulfill the expectations of this position.

So we are going to pay this guy a six figure salary to “reduce disparities in suspensions?”

The effectiveness of the district’s communications also came into question as a parent commented that the community’s perception and the reaction may have been different if Jenkins’ email had given recognition for Dahl’s 17 years as principal and provided an explanation of his new role. Bassett later acknowledged this concern and said the district needs to do a better job of communicating.

Well, according to Unified District Vision, this should have been done years ago.

In November, district voters approved a referendum that will generate $6 million over 10 years. An attendee questioned the financial sense of moving Dahl into this new position and hiring a new principal when Dahl suggested he was retiring in 2020.

Jenkins said there was no indication that Dahl would retire next year when the decision was made, nor was there any notice with the human resources department as of that day. After being informed of Dahl’s plans and the disappointment by the district stakeholders, Jenkins was asked whether he would reconsider the reassignment.

Jenkins said he appreciates the feedback he’s been given and is looking at the totality of that decision, noting he will also talk with students to get their perspective. “I didn’t say yes or no,” he said. Anna Niemela, co-class president at Armstrong, asked that Dahl remain in that role for his last year at the district.

“Having the voice of the student body, and having worked closely with Mr. Dahl this year, I know that Mr. Dahl is a very successful and loyal principal at Armstrong High School,” she said. Also questioned was the superintendent’s leadership, including the hiring process and the decision to spend money on a national search to fill the principal position when qualified candidates could be considered from within the district and within the state.

Folks, let me tell you something, Jenkins already knows the “type of person” he’s going to hire. Its like a football team firing a coach; you don’t do it without having a replacement in mind.

Jenkins was hired in 2015 to help move the district forward in its unified district vision, which has four main goals:

• Implement policies and practices that open pathways to academic excellence for all students.

• Utilize culturally responsive teaching and personalized learning for all students.

• Engage family and community members as partners.

• Engage and empower students by amplifying student voice.

The board evaluates the superintendent on his performance as it relates to those goals.

And of course the Board is just glowing in its reviews even though we showed on one of our latest podcasts that results in the district haven’t moved.

As of Jenkins’ mid-term evaluation, “he is doing an excellent job at moving our district toward the vision that our staff had set out six years ago that we’re continuing toward now,” Tyrrell said.

Bassett agreed that Jenkins is doing what they expect of him in regard to the unified district vision, and added she was “surprised and unhappy at the juncture we are at right now.”

“The school district is the driver for many things in this community,” Bassett said. “We have a responsibility to many people and so we expect a leader who can take us where we need to go. And if we need to get back and recalibrate how we’re doing, we ought to have enough sense to do that when we need to, and I believe this board has that.”

“So, yes, we have our unified district vision – that’s the goal and hope we have for the academic achievement for our students – but we also have a responsibility as good neighbors and good business leaders for this community and we’re going to fulfill that,” Bassett said.

OK so what’s behind this? This United District Vision is being used as an excuse to do everything, but what’s the real end result?

Here’s my guess; Jenkins wants the “old white guy” in Dahl to gracefully exit. And he will use demographics to claim that “because of the trends” we need a more “culturally diverse” faculty. I guess minorities cant learn from whites, Imagine if it were the other way around? What if whites complained the staff was too “multicultural?”

For those of you who think I’m out in left field here, consider this: District 281 takes race into account for absolutely everything; graduations rates, test scores, after school activities, free and reduced lunch, pre K, suspension policy, criteria to get in a magnet school etc.

Why then would it be so far out to think that race won’t be taken into account when moving a principal and hiring a new one? My guess is that Armstrong with have a minority principal in September and the district and the diversity crowd will hail this as some sort of “progress.”

This is the “race paradox” that the political left constantly lives in. They say they want a color blind society, yet they judge everything based on race. As far as I’m concerned, District 281 has done nothing but divide us on this issue.

We shall see if I’m right. I’d bet that I am.

Crystal, We Have A Problem

Brendan for Crystal

by Jason Bradley

Wow. There’s not much more that I can say. That post speaks for itself. Our former mayor either has no idea how offensive this is, or just doesn’t care. I mean, she does understand that the KKK threatened and murdered African Americans in this country, right? Am I the only one that can see how racist this statement is? Ms Bowman goes on to quote MLK, while showing the absolute worst in character. Her Facebook feed is filled with posts that are full of misandry, name calling, and lewd jokes.

That should tell you all you need to know about Bowman as a person. It should also tell you something about the people that associate with her. I mean… birds of a feather flock together, isn’t that what they say? ReNae has found a like-minded soul in Julia Hill, and has had a hand in her running for the Ward 2 seat. I’m not saying Julia is a racist. I have no idea. I can tell you that she’s not too fond of people in general… or police. She certainly seems to have the same temperament as Ms Bowman. See below:

Brendan for Crystal(1)

Is this the kind of person we need on the city council? Is this someone that reflects our values? Six years ago, Crystal was very divided. We were upset about a lack of government transparency around County Road 81, Bottineau Light Rail, removal of homes and businesses for development, large bonding projects, annual property tax increases, condescending attitudes from elected leaders, slipping MN Green Step Cities in under the radar, dishonesty about whether to redevelop the airport, placing council people in the citizen spot on the West Metro Fire Board, forced footing drain and sump pump inspections, increased vitriol and denigrating residents with opposing viewpoints, and an unwarranted attack on the sitting chief of West Metro Fire. That’s just some of it. ReNae and Julia sound like they’re cut from the same cloth. Is this what we want? Clotheslining kids, calling minorities “Republikkkans”, tearing down our police, saying vile things about others (look at ReNae’s Facebook page), and more division? This isn’t the Crystal we’ve developed. It’s certainly not the one I want. We’ve come a long way in a few short years.

Most of us in this city agree on a lot of things, despite party. We don’t want a lot of debt. We don’t want high taxes. We don’t want excessive regulation over our property or how we earn a living. We’ve got a city that is paying off debt, has silenced train horns, has commissioned residents to review and clean up our list of city codes, removed duplicative taxes, used social media to communicate to residents exactly what the council will be and has been discussing, expanded housing options for home owners, saved money by contracting appropriate positions out through attrition, and so many more things. We have three candidates that have aligned themselves with ReNae and a single party along with its best interests (Kiser, Hill, Cummings). We have three that have remained nonpartisan, so that they can represent Crystal and its best interests (Seffren, Banks, Parsons). You have a decision to make today. Don’t despise the local races. Treat them all with importance and choose well.

Outside Money Buying Crystal Elections

by Jason Bradley

David Cummings is running in Section Two of Crystal against Olga Parsons on the same platform that Olga has been actually accomplishing as a member of the Crystal City Council. You can see an article we wrote on everything that Olga has accomplished here. Only one of David’s donations comes from a Crystal resident. Check out David’s campaign finance report. He received the maximum contribution allowed by law from both the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers and the Minneapolis Regional Labor Federation, which is not a labor union at all, but in fact a special PAC set up for Minneapolis activists to get their fingers into local government out in the suburbs. They also are pushing party politics into nonpartisan elections. David also received $300 from Education Minnesota Osseo. Why are activist organizations from Minneapolis and Osseo trying to get control of the Crystal City Council? He also received contributions from Maple Grove and Brooklyn, NY. We should be concerned that organizations are pouring a ton of money into a local race and local people are not. What Crystal really needs will get shelved for the agenda of out of town activists.

David Cummings Contributions 1

Therese Kiser (running against David Seffren) has no money at all coming in from Crystal residents. 100% of her campaign is funded by sources outside of Crystal. You can see her entire campaign finance report here. She got $600 (the full amount allowed by law) from the Minneapolis Labor Federation (the same activist PAC mentioned above). She has two related people from Iowa that contributed to her campaign, but what does that do for Crystal? Again, we have another candidate that represents special interests outside of Crystal, but wants to make the rules that you are supposed to live by.

Therese Kiser Contributions 1

Julia Hill (running against Brendan Banks) who is tied to both David and Therese (you can see portions of Therese’s and Julia’s signs at a Minneapolis Labor Federation event here), has either not been able to raise any money, or she has not filed a campaign finance report (we will post that if it changes). It may be because of her statements to threaten violence against children, or disparaging the local police. Where you find these three, former mayor ReNae Bowman is not far behind. Her husband (former ousted city council member) Joe Selton is on the board of the Minneapolis Labor Federation.

Crystal… do you really want to be “Little Minneapolis”? Elect these three and that’s exactly what you’re going to get: high debt, higher taxes, and less accountability. We’ve tried that and that’s why we made a change in the first place.

DFL Wants Crystal! It’s Up to You to Stop it!

By Andrew Richter

The local SD45 DFL has become obsessed with getting their power back in Crystal. This unfortunate politicizing of local races is exactly everything that is wrong about politics. If you want local problems fixed, local solutions, and a council that listens you can’t elect pure ideologues with an allegiance to party over people. The three DFL candidates in Crystal; David Cummings, Julia “Clothesline” Hill, and Therese Kiser are shamelessly partisan, unconcerned about what the citizens want.

Here are some photos from a recent DFL event;

Notice whose signs are there?

Now look at this lively bunch!

Wow look out for that blue wave! Anybody awake there? They sure look inspired lol

ReNae Bowman and Her Friend Julia “Clothesline” Hill

By Andrew Richter

A few months ago we did a post on Crystal City Council candidate Julia Hill threatening to clothesline kids who come near and scare her dog. As serious as that was, this Facebook post from a few years ago directed at the Crystal police is a tad more serious.

OK so she calls the officer an embarrassment to the uniform and unfit to serve the community. Attacking this officer’s character is fairly serious. Do she know the officer’s name or credentials? She then accuses the officer of interviewing Swedish coeds instead of “helping her.” So is she implying that the policeman was trying to get a date? Flirting with them? How does she know what he was doing? By the way, look at the spelling in the last sentence…”assustance in helping o?”

Hill then implies that something else “fed into the decision to allegedly care about Swedish coeds over a neighbor’s dog” and she has her suspicions of what that was. Huh? And don’t you love calling the officer a young idiot with a buzz cut? Are you going to use language like this on the council when you don’t get your way? Any police officers want this woman in charge of them?

Meanwhile her buddy ReNae Bowman is making fun of everyone else. Look what she says about Jeff Kolb swearing in a police officer.

Seldom in western civilization have I seen someone so ignorant. Bowman claims the city has no money for parks, roads, and utilities but the truth is the city is rebuilding Welcome Park and Becker Park and paying for the Mill and Overlay projects with cash and they paid cash for a new Public Works Building avoiding costly borrowing. What part of that aren’t you smart enough to understand? So you’re 0 for 3 Ms. Bowman.

She then calls this a “photo-op” for Councilman Jeff Kolb. Really? As the Mayor Pro Tem isn’t it his job to swear in a new officer? You swore in new officers when you the mayor, was that a photo op? Talk about being delusional and being full of hate. And I always laugh at a KKK reference since they are a Democratic creation. Her hatred continues as she slams Ms. Hill’s opponent Brendan Banks…..

Not about the color of skin but content of character? Since when does the left believe that? Bowman then goes on to make fun of where Mr. Banks lives. I thought the DFL was the champion of the downtrodden and the poor and the disadvantaged? I guess that only applies if minorities stay on their plantation. She claims he’s being “outed” as a Republican because one house has his sign with a Trump sign. That’s funny I thought this was a non partisan race. Can’t he have signs everywhere? As always, Democrats think these seats are their possession and act like 4 year olds when they don’t have the power they crave. She then gives the kiss of death to Julia Hill…..a ReNae endorsement! Oh God! Ms. Hill a word of advice; if you stand any chance to win this race, get as far from the former mayor as possible. If you don’t believe me, check the results of the last three or four elections cycles here in Crystal. Bob Uecker is batting higher than ReNae.

And what would be ReNae Bowman without petty attacks on yours truly…..

LOL! First off what is this lil’ Andy Stuff? Is that supposed to be funny? I can take a joke but I don’t get it. I’m the biggest name caller in the district? Yeah whatever. Only in her “mind” is that true. I don’t recall calling anyone a libtard; with her I don’t have to. Her behavior is such that no name calling is needed. And, as always Ms. Bowman plays the victim and tries to make people feel sorry for her.

Here she supports a social media ban!

It’s interesting to know that the former mayor supports banning people in social media. I guess she doesn’t support freedom of speech. What if someone bans you Ms. Bowman? Will you be cheering or will you be a cry baby playing the victim?

It’s strange to compare me to Alex Jones. I’m not sure I’ve ever publicly supported anything he does or says. Sometimes I agree with him, sometimes I don’t. Either way, the man has a right to free speech. I also love the notion that my days are numbered. I could take that as a threat, but it’s more of an act of desperation.

My days aren’t numbered. My movement is growing. You are the dinosaur Ms. Bowman, and you will bring people like Julia Hill down with you.

Crystal City Candidate Julia Hill Threatens to “Clothesline Kids”

By Andrew Richter

You know it wouldn’t be the political season unless we have a fight in Crystal. There is now an open seat in Ward 2 as Jeff Kolb is not seeking re-election. One of the folks running for that seat is Julia Hill.

Ms. Hill has long made negative comments about yours truly, of which I can handle. Hatred is something you just have to live with in politics. Her comments about others, though, are going to be fair game here. She tried to “whitewash” or “scrub” her Facebook page recently, but she wasn’t quick enough. We’ve got some good stuff and I’d like to start with this;

OK now I would not advocate that kids run at dogs. That can be dangerous, but what kind of conduct is it to threaten to “clothesline” them? Then she calls them “little assholes?” Wow that’s classy. What’s going to happen when you are at a council meeting and a citizen disagrees with you? Are you going to threaten to clothesline them and call them an asshole? Even if Ms. Hill isn’t serious, and I sure hope she isn’t, it’s not very funny. She could have simply asked kids to not run at her dogs, couldn’t she have? And by the way, the word God should be capitalized.

The post was shared by our former mayor who says she “loved the public service announcement.” Once again, a whole lot of class here. Ms. Hill will probably now play the victim and try to somehow turn this around on me. Well, they are your words Ms. Hill not mine, I just have bigger audience than you.

Judge for yourself folks, the campaign had just begun…..

DFL Unions Target Crystal and New Hope for Power Grab

By Andrew Richter

Well as predicted here local races are about to become even more partisan as Minneapolis unions are sticking their noses in city elections in Crystal and New Hope. They are holding their second event in three months on Monday, February 26.

Now you may be asking yourself: why are Minneapolis Unions getting involved in these races? When it comes to Crystal we know why. That’s a city union friends used to run. Now they don’t own anyone expect Johnny B and the unions want their power back. They want “yes men” in office and are willing to spend money to get it. This isn’t about a better Crystal or a better New Hope. This is a bull session on how to get power. Expect the usual 30 or so people to show up: ReNae Bowman, Joe Selton, Mark Hoffman, Johnny B and a handful of union folks with their workers’ checkbooks. Expect the personal agendas of former council people to be talked about. Expect the Crystal city council to be trashed at every turn by this hate-filled group. My guess is that New Hope isn’t talked about at all.

Folks, I share this to show what we said was going to happen is happening. The DFL doesn’t control one city and they are upset about it. It also shows me that they’ve learned nothing from the past three elections cycles. These folks didn’t lose because they weren’t DFL enough or they didn’t support unions enough. Of course I know why they lost but if they aren’t smart enough they to figure that out by now they never will. Go ahead get your union endorsement like you guys did last time. It won’t work but we will have fun watching. Also you can count on us to let you know who is bought and paid for by a Minneapolis union in a Crystal election.

In the mean time, let’s all go and have pizza on the DFL Monday night! See you there!
