Remember When Bowman Pulled a Trump

Someone’s character is evident when the chips are down or when things go bad for them. People with character and integrity take defeat like an adult. They don’t whine or cry and they don’t sit around and blame others.

That of course brings me to ReNae Bowman. After losing the 2012 election to current mayor Jim Adams, Bowman showed no grace, no humility, and no character. Instead of doing self-reflection, she trashed everyone who disagrees with her.

You want evidence? I’ll give you some; remember her comments to the post when she lost the 2012 election? Here’s what she said:

Bowman: “I’ve accomplished so much in the past eight years in a way of building the community and making it stronger and much of it has gone unseen.”

What? It takes a special kind of arrogance to say things like that about the people you represent when they decide they don’t want you anymore.

She wasn’t done. Then came time to certify the election results Bowman refused to certify Jim Adams as the winner by abstaining from the vote. That’s right she pulled a Donald Trump and wouldn’t accept the results. How much hatred to you have to have to do that? Yeah and you believe in “no labels”! What a joke.

HERE is the article we wrote on it. We will analyze her “farewell speech” at a different date.
