A New Focus??

This is scary. Mike Opat has stepped down as the chair of Hennepin County. One would think I would think this is a good thing, but it may be backfire. He recently told channel 12 about his “new priorities” in the upcoming years.

Now think about this for a minute; Mike Opat has done enough damage to Hennepin County with all of his tax increases and big government spending. Just think how much damage he can do now with less responsibility and more free time!

My guess is that this is strategic. There’s no doubt that Mr. Opat wants higher office and my guess is that he will begin positioning himself to run for governor is 2018.

Just another reason to oppose Bottineau Transit…….
