They say birds flock together…..

I am writing to encourage Golden Valley residents to support Larry Fonnest and Andy Snope for the two, four-year council seats on Nov. 5.

The two DFL endorsed candidates by the way…..

I have known both of them for years; they share a cordial, cooperative nature that will serve Golden Valley residents well. Andy and Larry bring complementary life experiences and share a commitment to public service.

Andy, who works as an electrician, has been deeply involved in his organization’s pensions and benefit programs which will serve the city well whether the discussions are focused on development or city finances.

Not to mention he is a union representative.

Larry has worked as a small business owner and as Director of the Minnesota Conservation Corps making him well versed in financial issues and outreach efforts.

Outreach efforts?

Both are also committed to Golden Valley: Larry serves on the city’s Board of Zoning Appeals and Andy serves as chair of the city’s Human Rights Commission.

Is that the same Human Rights Commission that was disbanded?

Both candidates will be respectful voices at the council table who will put Golden Valley residents first. Please support Andy Snope and Larry Fonnest.

So now you know who not to vote for!
