Fonnest Supporter Reveals Real Agenda!

I’m not sure this person meant to do this but….

I’m supporting my neighbor, Larry Fonnest, for City Council strongly enough to write a letter to the editor. Larry has such a passion for improving the community in which we live. He has a vision which he explains well and a clear path to it.

Larry has been directly or indirectly involved with politics for most of his adult life and this experience will aid him with his work on the City Council. In addition, he is a small business owner with extensive acumen in accounting and management, which assures me that he has a good balance of creativity and accountability.

I am particularly interested in his enthusiasm for various projects, like community development of bike and walking paths. I strongly support any transit options that take cars off the road.

Takes cars off the roads??? Cars off the roads???? I thought this was all about “choices” for people?? But here you see the REAL AGENDA which is to get you out off your car and restrict your mobility. Thus you can be controlled by government.

He also has ideas for community building which I think is important in an era where we’re all buried in our smart phones. He understands the responsibility to the citizenry on issues like property taxes and expenditures.

I urge you all to vote for Larry Fonnest on Nov. 5 for an enriched Golden Valley.

Thanks for the candor and for telling us who NOT to vote for.

Bike/walking paths would, at least in Robin Scholer’s opinion, lead to more people willingly choosing those options instead of driving.

The idea is that cars would be taken off the road as people naturally and voluntarily drove a bit less often.

How might this happen? Maybe a family would decide to bike to the park one afternoon instead of hauling out the gas guzzler. Such a scenario hardly seems like radical government tyranny.

Larry Fonnest has never voiced support for people’s transit choices being “controlled by government.” The idea that a small business owner in the West Metro has some secret scheme to rip you from your beloved automobile and restrict your mobility is absolutely ridiculous.

Fonnest has now been elected by the people of Golden Valley, so we’ll get to see what he actually does in office.

Please don’t be too disappointed when the twisted anti-American plot to steal everyone’s cars fails to materialize.
