More road closures in New Hope. From their Website;

49th Avenue will be closed at Winnetka Avenue beginning Saturday, August 10. A contractor for CenterPoint Energy will be installing new 24 inch gas pipeline at the intersection of 49th and Winnetka. This closure is the final phase of CenterPoint’s project to install new gas main beneath Winnetka from Bass Lake Road to 42nd Avenue, which began in April. Winnetka will remain open to through traffic during this phase of the project. Eastbound traffic on 49th Avenue will be detoured north on Winnetka to Bass Lake Road, east to West Broadway Avenue, and south on West Broadway and Douglas Drive. CenterPoint expects to complete the work by about the end of August.

What is this the 73rd project in New Hope this year? Look for more backups everywhere else. Is Boone ever going to reopen?
