As if there isn’t enough construction;

The Hennepin County Transportation Department announced that 63rd Avenue North will be closed east of Bottineau Boulevard in Brooklyn Park for approximately six weeks. The closure was scheduled to begin June 25.The closure is to allow construction of a sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer, as well as reconstruction of the roadway.

And their stupid light rail….why isn’t the park & ride being torn down… gets so much use all 20 cars a day!

A marked detour will be provided to direct motorists to Zane Avenue, 69th Avenue and Bottineau Boulevard.

So Boone is down, Winnetka is down, 169 south is down, 81 in Robbinsdale is down, and we have phase 13 in Crystal. Way to coordinate government! Maybe we will have to bike and walk everywhere!
