Golden Valley to Keep Surplus Money

Recently Golden Valley Mayor Shep Harris sat down for his “mayor’s minutes” segment on channel 12 and talked about the city’s surplus of $1.2 million;

Notice what the mayor says about the surplus; they are going to use it for debt management and to offset future tax increases. Why don’t you return the money to the people you ripped it off from.  Why don’t you lower fees or liquor licenses. Residents of Golden Valley OVERPAID their takes and this guy (like most people in government) wants to keep the money and do with it as he pleases. Just business as usual.
