Too Much Construction!!!!

How much more construction can northern Crystal get at one time?  The bridge being out on highway 81 (excuse us, Bottineau Blvd)  is bad enough but we also have the Northwest Family Physicians move going on as well as Phase 11 in the Broadway Park area.  Bass Lake road has been one lane for most of the summer on the 81 intersection and it was worked on near St. Raphael’s earlier in the summer.   As if that is not enough, West Broadway itself is now being work on and after labor day, the street over by Arby’s and ASI auto repair are being worked on!

Who plans this stuff?  What idiot would put so many construction projects in one area at the same time.  You think we are going to get relief anytime soon?  Not a chance….next year 63rd and 81 will be worked on all summer causing even more wonderful delays and phase 12 will tear up the Forest Elementary area unless the city council votes against it (yeah right!).

There are TOO MANY projects going on at once!!!!  Hey central planners, can we get a break, please!!!!

Didn’t our Mayor and City Council tell us they had cut spending until there was no more to cut? How can we continue to have so many street construction improvement projects going on? Don’t you think that some of these projects need to come off auto pilot when tax revenues are down and residents are stretched to stay in their homes and put food on the table. It is time to weigh needed maintenance against planed improvements that are based of projected tax revenues from more prosperous times. Where is the concern for the residents of Crystal in all this construction?
