Hastings man kicked out of Minneapolis for doing good

Unbelieveable. This is what we’ve come to? Government wants to be the answer to everybody’s problems so bad, that they are stopping people from doing good deeds on their own. This is what happens when we allow them to regulate everything. We see a disgusting display of authoritarian power.

We need to be involved in our communities. We need to be the voice of reason and the hands and feet of compassion. Our neighbors should be the first place we turn (and vice versa) when there is a need. Unfortunately, most of us don’t know our neighbors anymore. How can we have a close-knit community if we don’t socialize?

If we allow government to be the arbiter of good deeds, then all we need to do is nothing. If we want to have the say in our neighborhoods, however, we must be willing to do the right stuff now. That will assure us that we will always have the freedom to do good as we see it, instead of being forced to act in what they believe to be the common good.
